Spiritual Protection.

As many of you, I'm sure will know, it is extremely important to protect ourselves when doing any kind of paranormal investigation. This is because in the spirit world, as in the world we live in, not everything you come across is going to be friendly or want you near by. Unfortunately negative energy and spirits are something everyone doing a paranormal investigation will experience at some time. This will usually just be a feeling of being very uncomfortable or very scared for no apparent reason. However, this is nothing to be concerned about as long as we use spiritual protection.

One way we can protect is by ourselves before an investigation by using Basic White Light Protection. This is how to do it:

White Light Protection
Take a few minutes to sit quietly, close your eyes and relax and focus whilst letting your breathing get steady as it does when you are asleep.
Then imagine that you have a bright white light above your head which then expands and surrounds your whole body like a cocoon.
Believe and know that this light will protect you and is protecting you. I usually say a few words such as " I am protected and nothing negative can get through to me".

If you can't envisage the light it doesn't matter as long as you know you are protected and nothing negative can get through to you. And that's all there is to it!

Another slightly more advanced method of protection is Crystal Pyramid Protection. I would recommend that you try this after you have perfected White Light Protection and can see the light around you but only because it takes a lot more concentration at first. Below is a basic guide on how to carry it out:

Crystal Pyramid Protection
Sit and relax and shut your eyes, focus and take deep breaths do this for a few minutes until you are completely relaxed.
Imagine a pyramid made of crystal and filled with bright white light in front of you.
Then let the pyramid grow to be as tall as you are and walk towards it and climb in. I usually visualise a door opening and then shut and lock it behind me.
Once you can see yourself inside the pyramid know you are protected and nothing negative can get through to you.
This protection can be made as big or as small as you want it to be and you can enlarge it to protect your whole house if you need/ want it to.

After both of the above protections most people feel very warm and very safe when they have performed them.
There are other forms of protection that can be used and I will discuss these at a later date, unless anyone is particularly interested then please feel free to contact me for more information through the website.

I would just like to add that any investigations which take place within the Isle Of The Dead group will have group protection take place both before and after the investigation takes place, however protection does only work if every group member believes in it!

All the above protections do work but some people may take longer to get them right than others, this doesn't matter practice makes perfect!!!!
